The best Weapon for the Off Hand for a rogue/mage

Hi everyone!

¿Which is the best Weapon for the Off Hand for a rogue/mage? This is the question.. hahaha

Now, I use the Kibensty, but I think that I lost too physical attack, so I'm thinking about changing my weapon.

I hesitate between using the Dimlight (1.8, 3,548 physical attack, and 3,160 DPS) or to use the Kulech normal Weapon Tool steel composite demonic (1.8, 3,360 physical attack, 315 Dexterity, and 2,671 DPS).

Which do you prefer? I think that weapons 2,1 like Eternal Torment from Grotto Hard mode are too slow, but I have not been able to test.

Can you help me?

Thanks!

PD: Sorry for my English, I am Spanish :P

pretty rough calculations indicate this:

- nimble: 10.7%
- raid ix: 10.8%
- lute: 25%
- strong stimulant: 25%
- FT: 10%
- SA: 10%
- IBD: 20%
- pet 5%

in boss burns we have with a weapon of 2.1:

2.1 * 0.893 * 0.892 * 0.75 * 0.75 * 0.9 * 0.9 * 0.8 * 0.95 = 0.58 <----

given that the cap of # of hits is "2 per second", u almost reach maximum speed with a low weapon of 2.1 during burn.

[short version]: if u r interested in boss burns only, use eternal tormentor. if u r interested in trash-kills or post-burn, go for a faster one ( 1.5-1.8 )

Thank you for your answer.

So, the Kibensty is ruled.

I should decide between an 1.8 speed weapon (The Dim Light or the Kulech normal Weapon Tool steel composite demonic ) or the Eternal Torment Grotto from Hard mode with 2.1 speed, yes?

More opinions?

Thank you so much.

I would say for your off dagger going for the fastest one is probably the best. R/M is really about trying to get off as many auto attacks as possible so you can use Enchanted throw (ET) to it's full potential. A fast one with low physical damage is fine as the damage from your ET is far better then the white hits/auto attacks.

However if you are one of the better, late game R/M you should have Nimble hands maxed and 2 high tier Raids (Attack Speed % runes), also with your Blade dance, frenzy attack, frenzy potion and other attack speed buffs, you can go for an off dagger that can offer other stats, as your attack speed should be OP!

Edit: Forgot about that achilleas1 lol :p

critical hit on offhand weapons is useless. it applies only to the offhnand-white-hits, which r totally unimportant for any rogue combo, even for a r/m.

its all about the trade off to be balanced: higher patt vs. slower speed. resulting in choosing between eternal tormentor vs. the-1.8-ones
