This is what I have normally...

I believe some addons can lower your fps & it may be worth turning the graphics options down to minimum and increasing them one at a time, a little at a time to see if any one setting is causing you problems...

formatted with my hand her PC and tryed with no addon installed ...
graphic option are all at smallest value possible

it is possible that motherboard ( ASRock ) does not see 1GB DDR3 memory on the video card? ( is the last solution I can think of )

any other tip?

P.S.
Tonight I try to install my graphics card on her PC (NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT with 500MB of memory) ... hope to solve

swapped "NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT 500mb" with "ATI Radeon HD 5450 1GB" on my PC, still no fps ratio changes ...

on both PC we experience low FPS ( my DxDiag in attach DxDiag.txt )

any tips ?
ROM has really become so heavy?

I think it's just the game itself to be honest. If you can run other games properly without any framelag, then no matter what is said about crappy hardware or out-of-date drivers, it's just the game itself. Also crashes occur a lot, and is that our fault or theirs? Either theirs and then they will need to hire better programmers, or they need to reconsider the list of minimum specifications, with the consequence that only people with really good computers will actually be able to play this game properly without any lag/crashes. Even though I believe quite some people with "good" computers still crash pretty frequently.

Justice shall prevail...

intensive CPU game , not GPU
therefore u need better cpu ... the video card is enough
as the game not support more than 2 cores you can go for a cheap core 2 duo at minimum 3 GHz and 6 MB lvl 2 cache ....(like e8400 e8500 or amd equiv) ... you will see a huge fps boost

- 70 fps varanas
- 100+ firebot
- 25+ anywhere (don't know about that tomb .. never there :) )

with some cpu as mentioned above

I think it's just the game itself too...
tested both PC with another game with no problem ( the other game have highter minimum requirements for pc ).

atm i have slim version. if my memory go right, slim version grave on CPU and normal version grave on skvideo ... right?
i have to install normal version game to see if have some fps increase ? can be a solution ? or i have to leave for non compatible PC ?

bigest problem of this game is the engine and optimization....this game isnt very well optimizated.
Runewaker must do something with the game engine and optimization but i don't think that will see this soon.

just for the sake of the topic : this game requirements are much higher than those on site , those are old ones (don't know how old)
the fact is the game as it is right now demand CPU power , maybe more than a single player game but I've seen this on many mmo's

as about optimization : is it as it is , is a fact and should be take it as it is , can be better ? ofc , anything can be better

now more on topic : if you have a powerful CPU , a medium-high (not end line GPU) and at least 2 GB RAM you should have decent FPS ( above 25 anywhere )
this discussion is already old , and a new CPU is solving the FPS problem

the major issue imo is compatibility with windows 7 , and to be fair most of mmo I play or played have issue with windows above XP and especially with 64 bit versions

to conclude : powerful CPU (means 3GHz at least , 6 or more MB level 2 cache or even L3 cache from new CPU's ) a medium-high video card (nvidia GF9600,9800 or above or equiv ATI) and at least 2 GB RAM and windows XP make the game experience very nice (above 25-30 fps even in crowded area is nice imo) .. ofc there are crashes , other subject other ways to solve ...

gl and have fun , if you don't turn off PC and get out home :D

Hey,
Try opening up your pc and get rid of all the dust which is inside. The temperature of your GPU and CPU will get lower and your game will be able to run smooth again :)
Succes :P

big loool with cleaning your PC from dust will lower the cpu temp with 2-3 degrees and that is almost nothing ... and this game have big problem with engine from the beginig . not the dust is the bigest problem ...

try other mmorpg with same computer and u will see that it's runing mutch better then this one ....and 25-30 FPS is a good one ? i don't think so u have that fps with all at low in your house go to dalanis and u will see 5-10 fps if u are lucky.

PS. i don't have problems cos i know how to optimizate an OS my fps is 80-90 varanas and 50-60 in dalanis. i use Linux.

@attbadila : using linux may get you better performance but how many players can install a windows game on linux ? or even use linux in 1st place ?
I'm using linux only on my servers and not for my home pc (except some vmware test machines) and I know the taste of "wine" :) , what you expect from a " what could be inside that box named PC ?" to do ? ...
